私は旅の思い出を旅行記、
アルバム、お土産に詰めて
大切に取っています。

　最近、美術館で絵を
見るのを楽しみにしていて、
私は写真で絵画的な美しさを
表現したいと思うようになり
ました。

そしてだれでも行ける所で
日本人にしか撮れない俳句
のような作品を作ってゆこうと
思っています。

　I have kept precious
memories of my trips in
the travelogue, album and
souvenir.

Appreciating a painting in a
museum gives me pleasure
recently and I have come to
express pictorial beauty in
my photograph.

And I intend to take a picture
in a place anybody can visit,
but make my photograph
a haiku poem only a Japanese
can compose.

日本の四季を撮る


























冬、眠れる里にも清らかな水が流れ、
In winter the clear water flows through the sleeping village,

春、石の庭も池の庭も桜で華やぎ、
in spring both a rock garden and a pond garden are
dressed in the cherry blossoms,

夏、人々のざわめきが波に揺れ、
in summer hums of people ripple in the waves,

秋、もみじが冷気の中で五色に変わり・・・
and in autumn maples turn to the five colors in the chill...
